Anna wins first place in Open Software at Praxis 2008
Posted by on

Congrats to him :D That's the 3rd straight first place in open software by an AXIS Core member :)
As expected, he'll be here in a few hours and make excuses again... ignore them :P

That takes the over all tally in open software competitions to
1) SaM = 2x1st place
1) stridy = 2x1st place
3) anna = 2x1st place
4) JA = 1x3rd place

Hmm pretty nice, I'd say :) I wish I was there to take victory pics of anna and *ahem* :D

Good luck to him in the WebApps event he's taking part in tomorrow :)

Team SKAN @ 2008

Team SKAN - consisting of Sameet Singh, Karun AB, Amith George and Noel Sequeira - has had a wonderful year so far.

It gives me great pleasure to announce that Team SKAN will represent India at the Imagine Cup World Finals at Paris, in the Software Design Interoperability Award Category. Team SKAN was also awarded the 2nd place at the National Finals of the Software Design Invitational held at Bangalore.

Apart from this, Team SKAN emerged victorious at the Innovation Accelerator Programme organized by Microsoft and CIIE at IIM-A.

Cheers

To our knowledge, this is the first Indian team to win first place at the Imagine Cup and we are the first Interop Champs :D We are to recieve a prize of $10,000, a trip to Redmond for 2 nights and a day and an internship interview for MS Interop at Redmond. This is what the docs said :P

Au Revoir!

[Release] expRSS 1.0 VUD - Release 9
Posted by on

Click Here to Download expRSS 1.0 VUD - R9

This is the 9th release of expRSS and it is coming exactly one year after the first one came out. A lot has changed over the year, few new features and a hundred new bugs.
Here's another one in the Version Under Development series, which is about to end soon. The next release, will be a BETA, followed by the final version 1.0.

BETA will take some time to come out though, since there are still new features that I want to implement and obviously the few 100+ bugs to be fixed. This is actually one of the reasons why I am going forward with putting up a raw R9. The next version will take some time. R9 includes quite a few new features and basic code changes. It's a breakpoint of sorts that I'm trying to apply here, so that you all can help me figure out all bugs uptil this point. Please make full use of PROTON

Cheers
